Privacy Policy

DersVakti has no ads, analytics, tracking, or user accounts. The app never sends any personal data to a server or to third parties.
Data stored on your device
The name you enter, your schedules, room and class details, notes, tasks, and appearance settings are stored only on your device. The main data file is encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and the encryption key is kept in the iOS Keychain. So that your schedules can move to a new device, the encrypted data and key are included only in Apple's device backup (iCloud Backup or an encrypted computer backup); the developer has no access to these backups. Records left over from an earlier version of the app are converted to the encrypted format on first launch, and the old copy is deleted.
Widget and notifications
To make the widget work, the necessary summary of the active schedule is stored in the App Group container shared by the app and the widget. Lesson reminders are optional local notifications scheduled on your device. Declining notification permission doesn't affect any other feature of the app.
Backup and sharing
When you use “Export”, the app creates a readable JSON file for you to share. This happens only at your explicit request, and the temporary file is deleted when the share sheet closes. The privacy terms of the service you choose to send the file to are governed by that service.
Data retention and deletion
Data stays on your device until you delete it or remove the app. In the app, Settings > Privacy & Security > Delete All Local Data removes your schedules, tasks, settings, the encryption key, the widget summary, and scheduled notifications.
Children's privacy
The app doesn't collect data from children or any other users. DersVakti isn't offered in the App Store's Kids category.
