Frequently asked questions
Where is my data stored?
Your schedules, tasks, and settings are stored only on your device. The main data file is encrypted with AES-256-GCM. No one, including the developer, can access this data.
Will my data move to a new phone?
Yes. When you restore from an iCloud Backup or an encrypted computer backup, your data comes with it. You can also create a JSON backup in the app with Settings > Data > Export and restore it on the new device with Import.
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen, tap the + button in the top-left corner, and choose “DersVakti” from the list. The light and dark “Lesson Flow” widgets show the time left in the current lesson and the class and room from your active schedule.
How do I change the app language?
DersVakti is available in English and Turkish and follows your device language. To choose a different language for the app only, go to iOS Settings > DersVakti > Language. The Settings > Appearance > Language row in the app opens this page.
I'm not getting lesson reminders
Make sure you've chosen a time in the app under Settings > Notifications > Lesson Reminder, and that notifications are allowed in iOS Settings > Notifications > DersVakti.
How do I delete all my data?
In the app, use Settings > Privacy & Security > Delete All Local Data, or remove the app from your device.
